Hello, my name is Christy!
I am a child of God; wife to my high school sweet heart; a mom to my two children; my daughter and son, and a grand-mother of four beautiful girls. A lot of about me pages share how they wanted to be a photographer since they were young, that's not my story. I had no idea that I wanted to be a photographer until I became one. I didn't dream of this career my entire life or write about it in my elementary career journal. My creative journey started with me designing invitations and flyers. I would have clients sending me the most distorted, unclear images of themselves to be placed on their invitations or flyer. Not pleased with the results of my product due to the images, I asked my husband to purchase me a camera. I started taking pictures of my clients, but what really pointed me to my dream job is when I did a sweet sixteen shoot of my best friend daughter. Now as a photographer I get to do the same thing instead of designing and crafting, I'm capturing and saving memories that matters the most to my clients' lives. And lastly, a big "Thank you" is in order for my husband for sacrificing and buying me my first camera to follow what I came to love.
